Hyosung has tied up with Kinetic’s Motoroyale for sales and service in India
The Hyosung banner has been taken over by Kinetic’s Motoroyale which earlier came under DSK group. Select Hyosung dealerships will continue to sell Hyosung as well as other bikes which come under the control of Motoroyale.
Hyosung launched GT 250R, Aquila 250, Aquila 650, ST7 and GT 650R under DSK Motowheels banner. The DSK Group also tied up with Benelli for sales and service in India. It is said that, the DSK Group filed for bankruptcy due to the financial losses suffered by its real estate unit. So Benelli’s Indian operations are taken over by Hyderabad-based Mahavir Group.

Currently, brands like MV Agusta and Norton provide sales and service under the Motoroyale Kinetic group, which will later be followed by the Korean brand Hyosung and another Italian motorcycle brand SWM.
The new contract comes as good news for the current Hyosung customers in India, as the bikers could get their bikes serviced at authorised service centres. The Kinetic’s Motoroyale dealerships will provide after-sales support to the customers. Also, Kinetic is trying to take over some of the existing Hyosung dealerships, which will later be converted into multi-brand store or say Motoroyale outlets.
The South Korea based manufacturer had shown three bikes and one concept at the 2016 EICMA motorcycle show – GT300R, Aquila GV300 and GT650R with the GD 450. After this new bond, the Hyousung might launch these bikes in India too.
