Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey to be flagged off on 5th July, 2018
The 2018 edition of the Himalayan Odyssey will be flagged off from New Delhi on 5th July, 2018.
This is the 15th edition of this trip, set to cover close to 2200kms in the mighty Himalayas before ending the ride on 22nd July back in Delhi.
The ride will traverse towards Khardung-La the highest motorable road in the world at 17,500 feet above sea level starting from India Gate, New Delhi.
For Himalayan Odyssey 2018 and Himalayan Odyssey – Women 2018, the registrations will start at the Royal Enfield website from 4th May onwards.
However, no more than 50 riders can take part in the male category and 20 in the women’s category.
This year the registration fee is set at Rs 48,000 for a solo rider and Rs 96,000 for a couple.
For the women edition, the fee has been set at Rs 42,000 for solo riders and Rs 84,000 for a couple. This fee only covers the stay, food and medical expenses. Rest, the participants need to take care of their bike and fuel expenses themselves.
