Just a week prior to the official launch in India, Suzuki Burgman scooters reached select dealerships. Some dealers are also taking the Pre-launch booking. The delivery of the first lot is expected to start by end of July.
The Burgman Street is the sibling moto-scooter to the 650cc Burgman which isn’t available in India. Taking styling cues from its elder sister, the Burgman Street is a very attractive and modern scooter. The base of the scooter would either be the Swish or the popular Access and powered by a 125cc carburetted CVT transmitted engine. The front 12inch alloy get a disc brake but the 10 inch rear has drum brakes and no ABS or of any sorts. On the visual department it looks out right fantastic. The centre clustered headlights are LED and has DRLs and so are the rear lights.
The ergonomics of the scooter are very comfortable and spacious. The boot space is big enough for any helmet or anything with a capacity of 21.5 litres, if that’s not enough, not to worry as it has a 2 litres glove box with in-built USB charge points up front. The heads up display is taken from Suzuki’s new all digital console which can be found on the little intruder and Gixxer. All of this can be yours at a reasonable price starting at 65000 Indian rupees.
